Course Description
Crowds are made up of individuals – all trying to find a “shortcut”, particularly in response to a problem or emergency. You need to be aware of the factors that influence crowd behaviour, as understanding these factors can provide advance warning of a situation with the potential to foster violence.
In this module we will discuss various types of crowds, how different influences can transform a crowd into a mob and offer you some advice on how to survive, with the aim to increase your chance of surviving an emergency within a crowd or demonstration.
